The Siamese cat is one of the first distinctly recognized breeds of Asian cat. The Siamese became one of the most popular breeds in the 20th century. The carefully refined modern Siamese is characterized by blue almond-shaped eyes, a triangular head shape, large ears, an elongated, slender, and muscular body, and point coloration (aside from the coloration, it bears little resemblance to the original stock, and the more moderate, traditional or "old-style" Siamese, with a much rounder head and body, has been re-established by multiple registries). You can describe the modern Siamese as social, intelligent, and playful into adulthood, often enjoying a game of fetch. Siamese tend to seek human interaction and also like companionship from other cats. The Siamese (sometimes in the traditional form) is among the foundation stock of several other breeds developed by crossbreeding with other cats; some examples are the Oriental Short-hair and Color-point Short-hair, developed to expand the range of coat patterns; the long-haired variant most often dubbed the Himalayan; and hair-mutation breeds including the Cornish Rex, Sphynx, and Peterbald.

Lovebirds are delightful little parrots that have been kept as pets for over 100 years! There are 9 species of these colorful, stocky little birds. There is also a wide variety of colorful mutations that have been developed within these species in captive bred lovebirds.
In the wilds, lovebirds live in flocks and are very social. The size of the flock varies with each species. Within the flock individual lovebirds will often pair up and be mates for life, staying very close to each other and constantly grooming each other. They display very loving affection, hence they termed "lovebirds".
Lovebirds are lively flyers and climbers, and as pets they are enjoyed for these antics as much as they are enjoyed for their beauty and their affectionate displays to their mate. The most popular and readily available species are the Peach-faced Lovebird, the Fischer’s Lovebird, and the Masked Lovebird.

Cockatoos are extremely affectionate, their feathers are very soft and they have beautiful colors!
On top of that, Cockatoos are very intelligent and inquisitive birds, and they love to show off! A Cockatoo will make comical displays with outspread wings, head bobbing, dancing, and loud calls. These birds are very active and curious about their environment. A happy cockatoo spends most of its waking time performing, or examining and manipulating its toys and other cage objects. Because of their loving qualities and intelligence, Cockatoos have a very high need for attention, affection, and interaction. A single cockatoo will thrive as your pet only if you devote time and attention to it. You will need to spend a good deal of time playing with it and sharing affections on a regular daily basis. However, two pet cockatoos can be ideal if you are not able to devote so much time and attention as the bird will demand. Bored cockatoos are notorious for developing bad habits such as screeching and feather plucking. Having two will help the birds to prevent bad habits developing by a bored bird.

Dwarf Hotot (pronounced "Oh-Toe" or sometimes "Hoe-Toe") Rabbit is also known as the "Eyes of the Fancy". These little rabbits are bound to catch not only the eyes of onlookers, but also their hearts. Though they are mostly all white, the thin band of black fur around their eyes give them a distinct, unique appearance. Their small size adds to their charm and practicality. They require a smaller living area than other rabbits, and are easily held in one's hand. Their affectionate, playful temperament is another quality that makes the Dwarf Hotot excellent choices for pet owners. These adorable little creatures are good with children and make wonderful pets. Like any other rabbit breed, individual Dwarf Hotots have individual personalities, and will enjoy their attention in different ways. Most love to be held and petted and some simply enjoy hopping around on their owner's lap, but for the most part this breed enjoys affection and they are quite affectionate in return.

Cats with kidney problems have a reduced ability to excrete waste products into their urine, leading to a potentially toxic build-up in the bloodstream. While some kidney problems occur suddenly, chronic kidney disease shows up more slowly over a period of time. Timely veterinary assessment with ongoing supportive care and dietary management can allow some cats with kidney problems to maintain an adequate quality of life.

The domestic canary, often simply known as the canary is a domesticated form of the wild canary, a small songbird in the finch family. Canaries were first bred in captivity in the 17th century. This bird became expensive and fashionable to breeding. Monks started breeding them and only sold the males (which sing). This kept the birds in short supply and drove the price up. First the birds were only owned by the rich but eventually the local citizens started to breed them and, again, they became very popular. Many breeds arose through selective breeding, and they are still very popular today for their voices. Typically, the domestic canary is kept as a popular cage and aviary bird.
